Zonta Club of Noosa
The Zonta Club of Noosa held its first meeting on 26 March 1993. The club held many very successful fund-raising activities in the early years including creating the pink fun run held prior to the Triathlon, numerous balls, fashion parades, picnic race days and pop-up fashion shops. The money raised from these events was used to empower women and girls in the local community through donations to the construction of a women's shelter, provide health services, and scholarships and bursaries for school girls and university students.
Zonta Noosa continues to be passionate advocates for women’s rights, conducting awareness raising campaigns including Zonta Says NO to Violence Against Women, as well as projects to inspire more female leaders. Our current activities include providing scholarships to local girls going on to study STEM subjects in university, three University bursaries to women studying at Sunshine Coast University, creating care packs which are distributed to women and children fleeing domestic violence plus the homeless, making breast cushions for women who have had mastectomies, making birthing kits and holding fund raising events such as sausage sizzles and Trivia nights to donate to the Rise2 Foundation and DV Safe Phone.

International Women's Day Breakfast
Each year we host a breakfast with amazing guest speakers to celebrate the great strides taken by womankind. In 2025 the guest speakers was Shelley Nolan

16 Days of Advocacy Walk
During the 16 Days of Advocacy (between November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and December 10, Human Rights Day) we hold a walk along the Noosa River at Noosaville to raise awareness around gender based violence.

Trivia Night
A fun night out and a chance to prove your dominance while helping us fundraise for our service projects.
We hold two trivia nights a year - one in May and one later in the year.

Financial Wellness Forum
With a grant from the Bendigo Bank at Tewantin we will be hosting our first Financial Wellness Forum this year.
With a range of speakers we will be focusing on building financial literacy and helping women to set themselves up for success in life.

Bunnings Sausage Sizzles
We hold regular sausage sizzles at Bunnings at Noosaville to raise funds for our service and advocacy projects.
Please stop in and grab a sausage to show your support.
Theatre Night
Biannually we partner with the Noosa Arts Theatre and run a Theatre Night. Last year we enjoyed Ladies in Black.
